May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time for us to reflect on our mental well-being and the practices that can help support it. One practice that has been shown to have positive impacts on mental health is basket weaving.

Throughout history, basket weaving has been an important practice for many cultures, used for practical purposes such as storage and transportation, as well as for artistic expression. But beyond its utilitarian and aesthetic functions, basket weaving has also been recognized as a form of therapy, providing a wide range of benefits to mental health and wellbeing.
